My name is Brian Hurst. I grew up with firearms and spent many happy hours hunting with my dad and shooting old tin cans with my friends. I made my first gun trade when I was 14 years old and developed a thirst for knowledge about all things dealing with firearms...who invented them, who the gunsmiths were, where they were manufactured, etc. That thirst for knowledge about firearms continued into my adult years.  

I have used that knowledge since then to buy and trade guns for myself and through different retail establishments such as Dick's, Gander Mountain, etc.  At Gander Mountain, I was the in-store firearms buyer for customers who wanted to sell or trade in their guns for a new firearm. I also purchased guns for the store at various auctions around the Raleigh area. I have been advising family and friends on the value of guns for over 30 years.  

When the opportunity arose to become a Certified Gun Appraiser, I immediately earned my certification through the American Gunsmithing Institute. I enjoy what I do...meeting new people and helping them to know the value of their firearms. I would love to help you as well.  I travel throughout NC to appraise firearms. Some of the areas I have gone to outside of Raleigh to do gun appraisals are Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, Rolesville, Youngsville, Durham, Burlington, Benson, Clayton, etc.  If you don't see your home town here, contact me anyway.  There is a good chance we can work it out.
